Many thanks to everyone who completed a feedback form. Whether you were walking or organising the feedback received is looked at and acted upon where possible. As a result, a few changes have been implemented.
Date: We appreciate that in the 7 years of GBGW, and now GGGW, more and more people are celebrating fathers day. This falls on the 3rd Sunday in June, as did the walks. Therefore, we have moved the walks to the 2nd Sunday in June. Next year’s date is Sunday 11th June 2017.
Not everyone is on Facebook: Agreed and the website will be updated at the same time as Facebook. We have also introduced a Blog Page. This is your chance to write a blog and have it published for all to enjoy. The bogs will not be shared on Facebook, so hopefully Facebook users will also visit the website to read them as well as for general information and updates.
Twitter: It seems very few used Twitter and none of the Admin team know how it works particularly. We will review the Twitter situation when things start to get going in earnest for next year’s walk.
Mobiles: This wasn’t mentioned on the feedback forms but we were aware there have been issues with viewing the website from a mobile. A few tweaks have been made today and further tweaks will be made. I am told it is already 99% better than it was.
