Well what a day yesterday was, from all corners of the country messages and texts were flying round with the numbers from each of our 74 walks.
At midday it was over 500, very healthy considering the weather in some places. By early afternoon we’d broken the 1500 and as the last few texts were delivered in the early evening we reached 2602 sighthound walking!
Truly amazing, and a real testament to the love and dedication all those volunteers have for sighthounds.
This isn’t the final figure as we still have a couple of stragglers to record, but to say the GBGW Team are delighted is an understatement.
