1000 Greyhounds World Record Attempt

Missing the Great British Greyhound Walk? Fear not, you can be part of history this September and take part in 1000 Greyhounds. Held in Devon, 1000 Greyhounds is a large-scale (single location) dog walk that aims to paw its way into the record books!

A word from the organisers:

“This is a fantastic opportunity to break the Guinness World Record for The Largest Dog Walk (Single Breed) to raise money and awareness for the need to rescue and rehome thousands of greyhounds, many of which are often subjected to cruelty and neglect.

This event is being organised by The Greyhound Sanctuary who, along with many other UK rescue charities, are rescuing many greyhounds in the UK and Ireland who need our help to find happy and loving homes.”

Fancy taking part? Then check out the 1000 Greyhounds official website for more information.

N.B. The 1000 Greyhounds Project is not organised or funded by GBGW or Greyhound Walks. We just want to support our peers in achieving their goal, for the common good of Greyhounds.
