Our Sponsors and Supporters

We’d be lost without our supporters; to show our thanks, we include their links here.

The range of products/services these businesses offer is staggering, so please take a few minutes to look at their sites.  We promise you won’t regret it.

Also, when you choose to do business with any of these companies please let them know that you found their details through the Great Global Greyhound Walk. It’s nice for them to know that supporting us benefits them too.  Thank you!

TTouch and Train Greyhound Club

This is a training club for pet sighthounds run by Julie Sadler
We meet in South Birmingham on a Saturday mornings most of our hounds are either ex racing or rescue greyhounds and lurchers.  The aim is to help the hounds settle into homelife and have happy and safe rehomings as well as having lots of fun. Solihull and Hall Green Greyhound Trusts give out vouchers for four weeks free training sessions. We also raise monies for good hound causes by selling refreshments and from a lotto lucky number game.

Dogs on Bikes have a full hound range of collars, leads, coats and treats from the martingale, walking, tag and buckle collars to fleece and rain coats to extra special occasion treats, special orders and a wide range of coloured webbing leads that would make a rainbow weep!

Hilary Johnson  in memory of Flora & Milo

Sofía, Troy and I will be walking in memory of Flora and Milo (pictured), who were put to sleep, for different reasons, in the same week last November. They loved the Greyhound Walks and it is so sad that they didn’t make the 10th Anniversary one, but I am sure that they will be with us in spirit.

Terri Saywell in memory of Treacle

Treacle sadly passed away on the 3rd Aug 2016, following an accident in the garden, and although saying goodbye to my best friend was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, I wouldn’t change a thing, we had 7 wonderful years together, and I cherish every moment I had with Treacle, it was a special bond and love that I will always be grateful for.

Treacle was – and always will be – my velcro dog, my comforter, my confident, my forever friend……

Pictured at one of the many walks, including GGGW’s, they attended.
