| Meeting point | Here are the best ways to the Central Park Tennis Center once you are in the park area (uptown Manhattan):From the West side of Central Park - 5 min. walk1. Enter the park from 93rd St. & Central Park West (CPW).2. Bear slightly left when the road forks and head toward the East side of the park.3. Cross over the West Drive (with bicycles and runners) being careful to look both ways since mostly no one pays attention to the lights.4. Continue walking East on the path toward the Tennis Center, which is a 1 story small blonde brick building by the tennis courts (which should be in front of you on your left).5. The bathrooms are on the right edge of the Tennis Center once you are facing the building.6. Continue walking past the Tennis Center/bathrooms just a bit and we'll be on the grass on the RIGHT.From the East side of Central Park - 9 min. walk1. Enter the park from 97th St. & 5th Ave.2. Go straight toward the West side of the park.3. Cross the East Drive (with bicycles and runners) being careful to look both ways since mostly no one pays attention to the lights.4. Turn left on the asphalt path immediately after crossing the drive and walk up a short hill.5. Make the first right just before the bridle path (dirt path) and reservoir.6. Keep the park benches on your left and tennis courts on your right. Stay left when the road forks (twice).7. Head straight toward the Tennis Center which is a small 1 story blonde brick building by the tennis courts (which should be ahead on your right).8. The bathrooms are on the right edge of the Tennis Center (if you are facing the building).9. The meet up spot is on the grass on your left just BEFORE you get to the Tennis Center and bathrooms. |

Our event is for Greyhounds, Galgos, Greyhound mixes and other sighthounds (Iggies, Whippets, Salukis, Podencos and more) and their humans only. Other pups from a Greyhound family are also welcome. But this is not an all dog breed event. This year's theme is RED, the color of love.
