From the East side of Central Park - 9 min. walk •Enter the park from 97th St. & 5th Ave. •Go straight toward the West side of the park. •Cross the East Drive (with bicycles and runners) being careful to look both ways since mostly no one pays attention to the lights. •Turn left on the asphalt path immediately after crossing the drive and walk up a short hill. •Make the first right just before the bridle path (dirt path) and reservoir. •Keep the park benches on your left and tennis courts on your right. Stay left when the road forks (twice). •Head straight toward the Tennis Center which is a small 1 story blonde brick building by the tennis courts (which should be ahead on your right). •The bathrooms are on either side of the Tennis Center (if you are facing the building). •The meet up spot is on the grass on your left just BEFORE you get to the Tennis Center and bathrooms. Parking | Please plan extra travel time. The subways always run late, parking is tough unless you park in a garage. Consider using parking apps like Spot Hero that have great deals or look for other garage parking. |
