Meeting pointPlease meet at Shoreham Village Recreation Ground TN14 7TB (behind the Village Hall) at 10am, where we will ascend into Andrews Woods. Please note, the beginning of this walk is uphill for a while, but you're rewarded with lovely views on the way! We then head through the woods, making our way to Polhill Nature Reserve. The path then leads back through the woods, to the 'Sound of Music' field (with more lovely views overlooking Shoreham) before heading back down to the recreation ground, just a few minutes walk from the car park. We will end our walk on the recreation ground, around 12noon. If you're looking for somewhere to go for lunch after, the Samuel Palmer (bar area only) and The Mount Vineyard allow dogs, as do The Crown in their bar area. The Honey Pot also offer take-away, or you can sit in their small court yard area outside.
ParkingParking is free in the village car park, on Filston Lane TN14 7SR but spaces are limited.
